First Page welcomes guest writers who feel they have something to say about anything media related, locally in South Africa and internationally. In return for your content, we’ll help you establish yourself as a writer online.

How to get started

Contact us via the contact form and tell us what topics you’d like to write about. We’ll get back to you as soon as possible with a yay or nay.

Publishing guidelines

• Blog posts should be around 400 words. We’re looking for good writers, so please don’t send us posts littered with grammar, spelling and punctuation errors.

Note: we reserve the right to edit guest posts to ensure sound sentence structure and correct spelling.

• Posts must be media or social media related.
• Posts must be original, i.e., they must not appear anywhere else.
• Content must belong to the author and must not be scraped from other sources.
• Sources must be cited.
• We allow a maximum of two links in guest posts.
• We also allow a link in the author bio which will appear at the bottom of the post.

We’ll try to approve articles within 48 hours of submission. If you haven’t heard from us within three days please contact us.

No articles will be published without approval.
